Writing A Dissertation: Turning In Your Dissertation

Writing A Dissertation: Turning In Your DissertationYou have written a wonderful essay about a topic that you are passionate about. Now what?Writing a thesis paper is an intellectual challenge, not an act of bravery. Whether or not the student succeeds is up to the student. No matter what your passion, writing about it and going through the process of research is an intellectual exercise. Now what? Well, the assignment has been completed. You have the outline, which may include a thesis statement, some thoughts and ideas. If it is a collection essay, you will want to divide the materials in parts and use them to write the next part of the essay. If it is a sectional essay, you will want to work with the same materials and sort them into sections. This final revision includes working on the layout of the paper. Now how? The best way to begin is by putting all of the papers in a folder that can be put in a bookcase. This way, when you come to the end of your writing assignment, all of th e papers will be in one place. You will then start by writing your essay and developing a thesis statement. Then you can move to the subjects or themes for each part of the essay. Once you have finished, move your notes and paper to the folder and put it in the bookcase. It will become a reference resource. When you get stuck, you can return to your notebook and look over the outline, notes and various themes for your essay.Since you will be able to find information at the college library, this will also be a good spot to look up information and gain some insight on topics that you may not know too much about. This is where you will be able to see if the topic of your paper appeals to you. It will also provide some great ideas for further research skills. Finally, when you are done, you will be able to take your notebook to the end of your writing assignment and turn it in.And that is it! Writing your final draft is easy as long as you follow these steps. With some patience and dilig ence, you will be on your way to a superb work of scholarship.Make sure that you turn in your final revision well before the deadline. You should always have a gap of three months between the time that you finish writing your writing assignment and the time that you turn it in. In this way, you will not be rushed to finish the assignment by the instructor.
